AMI Electronics.(AMIE) is an OEM manufacturer of standard and custom DC to DC converter components for high-voltage low-power applications. A division of Artificial Muscle, Inc., AMIE has provided high voltage products to a broad spectrum of aerospace, automotive, medical, consumer electronics, and other Fortune 500 companies and international academic and research institutions since 2004.
AMIE's corporate heritage traces back to a number of DARPA projects in the early 1990's. As well-funded research projects evolved into value-conscious commerical programs, AMIE filled a need for reliable, cost-effective high-voltage low-power DC to DC converters for applications from electroactive polymer artificial muscle (EPAM), to piezo devices to medical imaging and instrumention and much more.
